As we embark on another exciting year, we are thrilled to announce our new Patron, Brett Dean, a renowned composer and violist who has made his home in Calne. Brett succeeds Dame Judith Weir, who was composer-in-residence at the 1975 festival and has been a cherished part of our journey. We look forward to his inspiring influence as we continue to celebrate music, arts, and community.
This year promises another fantastic festival, featuring a vibrant lineup of events including our beloved Family Day, Open Art Exhibition, Opera, World Music, Literature, and, most importantly, a celebration of our local community.
We are proud to have so many talented musicians and artists who call Calne home.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Committee and co-opted members—a dedicated team of volunteers who have worked tirelessly to deliver another remarkable Festival. We hope you will join us in supporting and enjoying this year's celebration of arts, culture, and community.
