**Introducing the Calne Pig Parade**
The Calne Pig Parade has been a unique community art project launched at the Calne Carnival and sponsored by Calne Town Council. This special 2024 event has celebrated 50 years of the Calne Music and Arts Festival and 40 years since the Harris factory's demolition.
Exploring creatively decorated piglets, paper designs, and artworks throughout town. We have encourage everyone to get involved by creating their own pig, even using recycled materials. This project aimed to fill Calne with pigs once more— encouraging people to look for them in shop windows and on social media!
Sponsored by Calne Town Council, supported by Wessington Cabins and with Artway offering art materials as prizes, this has been Calne’s call to get creative and celebrate our community’s artistic spirit.
